Inspection: Unpacking and checking your new or used fan for all necessary parts.

Removal: Safe takedown of your existing fan or light fixture.

Safety Check: Testing existing wiring and ensuring your junction box is fan-rated.

Precision Assembly: Full assembly of the fan and light kit per manufacturer specs.

Installation: Secure mounting and wiring to your existing electrical box.

Balancing: High-speed testing to ensure a wobble-free, quiet experience.

Cleanup: Job site tidied and debris placed in your on-site disposal.

Warranty: A full one-year warranty on all labor.
⚠️ Potential Additional Charges
To provide the most accurate service, please note that the following situations may require extra labor or materials:

Furniture & Obstructions: If I need to move furniture or large objects to access the workspace, labor is billed at $15 per 15 minutes.

Concierge Pickup: I offer pickup and delivery for up to 3 fans from a local supplier (within a 10-minute drive) starting at $10. (Additional fans or longer drive times will be quoted).

Electrical & Wiring: * Box Upgrades: Replacing a non-fan-rated box or installing a reinforcement kit starts at $50.

New Wiring: Pricing for new circuits or additional wiring (where none exists) will be determined on-site.

Switch Upgrades: Replacing a standard light switch with a new dimmer or remote-compatible switch is $15.

Troubleshooting: Repairing existing faulty wiring is billed at $30 per 30 minutes.

Disposal: Off-site disposal of your old fan is $10 per unit.

Missing/Damaged Parts: Time spent shopping for replacements or repairing damaged components is billed at $30 per 30 minutes.

Minimum Service Fee: If the total labor for a visit is less than my $100 minimum (due to circumstances outside my control, such as missing parts or delivery delays), a trip charge will be applied to meet the minimum.
🛠️ How to Prepare for Your Installation
To ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient visit, please review the following checklist before I arrive:
1. Clear the Workspace

Access: Please ensure the area directly under and around the fan is clear of all furniture and debris.

Heavy Lifting: I work alone. If there are large items that need moving, please let me know in advance so I can arrange for a helper.

Save on Costs: You are welcome to assist with moving furniture to help keep your labor costs down!
2. Presence of an Adult

An adult (18 or older) with the authority to make installation decisions must be present for the duration of the appointment.

If you cannot be available, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule.
3. Equipment & Delivery

Timing: If your fan is being delivered, please do not schedule my visit for the same day.

Pre-Check: I recommend opening the box before I arrive to ensure all parts are present and undamaged. This prevents unnecessary trip charges if the unit is defective.

Rescheduling: If your delivery is delayed, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance (or by the evening before) to avoid a trip fee.
4. Safety First

For the safety of everyone involved, please keep pets and children clear of the work area while the installation is in progress.
