📋 How to Prepare for Your Installation

To ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient visit, please follow this pre-arrival checklist:

• Clear the Cabinets: Please remove all cleaning supplies and items from under the sink or in the basement work area.

• Check the Box: I recommend opening the unit beforehand to ensure no parts are missing or damaged.

• Heavy Lifting: If large furniture needs to be moved for a basement install, please let me know ahead of time so I can bring an assistant (additional labor fees apply).

• Safety Zone: Please keep pets and children clear of the plumbing work area for their safety.

⚠️ Services That May Incur an Additional Charge

To ensure a fair and transparent price, services outside the standard scope are billed as follows:

​

• Furniture & Obstructions: Relocation of heavy items or clearing cabinetry to access the workspace is billed at $15 per 15 minutes.

• Plumbing Repairs: If existing drains are leaking or your current shut-off valves are seized/unsuitable for the new system, replacement labor and parts will be added to the final total. To ensure a safe and lasting setup, I cannot perform or guarantee an installation without fully functional plumbing.

• Custom Modifications: Any structural or plumbing work required above a standard installation will be discussed and quoted before work begins or as soon as it is discovered.

• Missing or Damaged Parts: To avoid delays and extra costs, please inspect your system before my arrival. If I must leave the site to source missing hardware or specialized adapters, time is billed at $30 per 30 minutes. In the event that a new system must be ordered and a return visit is required, a $50 trip charge will be assessed.
