Not every wall is the same. Additional labor applies for specialty surfaces or heights:

• Specialty Surfaces: Tile, Stone, Brick, or uneven surfaces (Starts at +$25).

• High-Value Placements: Above fireplaces, mantles, or heights over 8ft (Starts at +$25).

• Mantle Mounts: Installation of pull-down style mounts (+$15).

• Dismounting Existing TVs: $25 (up to 64") | $50 (65"+ with your help) | $125 (65"+ with 2nd laborer).

• In-Wall Wire Management: PowerBridge or similar in-wall kits (Starts at $50).

• Recessed Electrical Outlet: New install behind the TV (Starts at $150).

• Soundbar Mounting: $25 (with TV install) | $100 (Standalone).

• TV Frame Install: $25 (with TV install) | $100 (Standalone).

• External Cord Raceway: Surface-mounted channels ($30 per 30 mins).

• Drywall Repair: Sanded smooth and ready for paint (Starts at $25).

​📦 Relocation & Moving Packages

Moving within or out of the area? I’ll handle the heavy lifting.

​

• Local Move (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston): Includes dismounting, mount removal, drywall patching, and packing the TV for transport. I can then perform the re-installation at your new home. Starts at $225.

• Out-of-Area/Dismount Only: Includes dismounting, mount removal, drywall patching, and boxing the TV for your movers. Starts at $100.

⚠️ Important Installation Notes

 

• Compatibility: A $50 trip charge applies if the customer-provided mount is incompatible with the TV or wall. I am happy to assist you in selecting the right mount before your appointment!

• Surface Risk: On surfaces other than drywall, wood, or plaster (such as stone or tile), some flexing or cracking can occur. While I take every precaution, I cannot be held responsible for damage to these specific materials during or after installation.

• Furniture: Please clear the area before I arrive. Moving heavy furniture is billed at $15 per 15 minutes.

• Safety Zone: For the safety of your loved ones and the efficiency of the install, please keep children and pets clear of the work area. Mounting involves heavy equipment and drilling; a clear space helps prevent accidents.

What’s Included in a Standard Installation?

My goal is a stress-free setup from start to finish. Every standard install includes:

​

• Inspection: Unpacking and verifying that your TV and mount are compatible with each other and your wall surface.

• Hardware Setup: Professional installation of brackets to the TV and the mount to the wall using surface-appropriate hardware.

• Precision Mounting: Final mounting and adjustment according to manufacturer specifications.

• Cable Dressing: Connecting your existing cables and neatly organizing them for a tidy look.

• Site Cleanup: Workspace tidied and all cardboard/packaging placed in your on-site bins. (Note: I recommend keeping original boxes for future moves!)

• Peace of Mind: A one-year warranty on all labor.

⚠️ Services That May Incur Additional Charges

To keep my base rates low, specific circumstances requiring extra time or specialty tools are billed as follows:

​

• Incompatibility: A $50 trip charge applies if the provided mount is not compatible with the TV or wall surface.

• Furniture Relocation: Moving items that interfere with the workspace is billed at $15 per 15 minutes.

• Specialty Drilling: If your stone or tile install requires a specialty drill bit not included with the mount, a fee for the bit and additional labor will apply.

• Site Delays: If I must leave and return due to missing hardware or unforeseen project issues, time is billed at $30 per 30 minutes.

• Programming: If you require assistance programming your TV or other equipment, my standard labor rate of $30 per 30 minutes will apply.

​♻️ TV Removal & Recycling

Upgrade your tech without the headache of disposal. I offer off-site removal and transport to a certified recycling center.

​

• Small Screens (Up to 31"): $20 Labor + $30 Recycling Fee

• Medium Screens (32" to 49"): $30 Labor + $30 Recycling Fee

• Large Screens (50" to 85"): $50 Labor + Recycling Fee (TBD based on unit weight)

Note: Recycling fees are passed through directly from the disposal facility to ensure your old electronics are handled in an environmentally responsible manner.

📋 How to Prepare for Your Visit

Follow these steps to ensure a smooth and efficient installation:

​

1. Clear the Space: Please have the mounting wall, mantles, and floor area clear of furniture, artwork, and debris.

2. Equipment Ready: Ensure the TV and mount are in the room where they will be installed.

3. Delivery Buffer: Please do not schedule your install for the same day as your TV delivery. If a delivery is delayed, please notify me 24 hours in advance to reschedule.

4. Adult Present: An adult (18+) with decision-making authority must be present for the duration of the install.

5. Safety Zone: For the safety of everyone, please keep pets and children clear of the work area during the installation.
