For a $50 deposit (applied 100% to your labor cost), I will inspect your cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical to ensure you buy a unit that fits perfectly. Highly recommended for Bosch or Miele units which often require specific plumbing heights!

📋 How to Prepare for Your Installation

To ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient visit, please follow this pre-arrival checklist:

1. Clear the Workspace

​

  • Sink Access: Please ensure the kitchen sink is empty and the cabinet directly under the sink is cleared out. I will need full access to this space to connect your water and drain lines.

  • Path Clearance: Ensure the floor space from the entry door to the kitchen is clear of rugs or debris for moving the heavy appliances.

2. Check Your Unit & Hardware

​

  • Unbox & Inspect: Required. Please open your new dishwasher before I arrive to ensure the tub is not cracked and the door is not dented.

  • Incompatibility Fee: Confirm your new unit fits the existing 18" or 24" opening. If I arrive and cannot complete the install due to a damaged or wrong-sized unit, a $50 service fee will be assessed.

3. Plumbing & Electrical Ready

​

  • Shut-off Valve: Confirm your water shut-off valve under the sink is functional and not seized. (If it needs replacement, please let me know ahead of time).

  • Power Source: Ensure there is a functioning outlet or a safe hard-wire connection point available in the dishwasher cavity.

4. Arrival Logistics

​

  • Adult Present: An adult (18 or older) with the authority to make installation decisions must be present for the entire appointment.

  • Timing: To account for potential delivery delays, please do not schedule my visit for the same day your appliance is being delivered.

  • Safety Zone: For everyone's safety, please keep pets and children clear of the kitchen while I am working with electrical lines and open plumbing.
